Keeping Boundaries

I actually forgot in the last Ps 119 post to give an assignment, a real obvious one. So this lesson is all about that. Also, you may be wondering, how many lessons is this guy going to do on TWO VERSES?!! Well, I’m going to do as many as I want!

Actually, These two verses are the seed idea behind probably 90% of all the other verses in Ps 119. Most of these verses give a similar idea, with very important nuances and twists, so it is good to really focus a lot of attention on these two verses to build a good solid foundation.

In addition, one of my passions in life is to demonstrate how rich Scripture really is; we rarely get an opportunity to really dig into the full depth of a tiny snippet of Scripture. We don’t always have time for this, but we’re taking it on this one.
==================SCRIPTURE======================
5 Oh that my ways may be established To keep Thy statutes!
6 Then I shall not be ashamed When I look upon all Thy commandments.

==================PRAYER==========================
Father in heaven, lead us all to have keen insight into how to defend Your boundaries in our own lives. Show us each with kindness as to where we can build new defenses and enter into a new phase of power and holiness and wisdom in our lives that we have not known before. Give us a new excitement and love for Your word and Your truth! AMEN!!!!!

==================LESSON===========================
Make a private, secret list (between only you and God) of boundaries in your life that you think need fortifying, that are making you a bit fearful and ashamed to go and closely read the scriptures. In other words, get some paper and a pencil, and write down the things that are tripping you up, and how you might fortify that breach.
