The True Voice of the Prophet – John 1:24-28

24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. 25 They asked him, and said to him, “Why then are you baptizing, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” 26 John answered them saying, “I baptize in water, [but] among you stands One whom you do not know. 27 “[It is] […]

The Only Begotten God – John 1:18

[Jhn 1:18 NASB] 18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained [Him.] John gives us quite the barrage of theological bombshells in the verse in rapid succession. No one has seen God ever. Yet, we have the only begotten […]

Freedom!!!

So what is freedom in the sense of being “free indeed?” I think it is the freedom of being justified.

Jesus as a Serpent

Isn’t it strange that the same creature who bit and killed is raised up as a standard and becomes a symbol of healing? Why is that? Here is what I think: it is the judge who must be the seat of mercy. It is the giver of wrath who must be the healer.

Wine of Purification

1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there; 2 and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” 4 And Jesus said to her, […]
