Jim McNeely is a normal guy working a normal job as a computer programmer in a cube in a basement for a group of radiologists in Bellingham Wa., while trying to keep up with growing boys and church stuff and bills come due. He is a teaching pastor and elder at Dakota Creek Christian Center. Sometimes he writes for this blog and speaks about grace whenever there is an opportunity. He also plays the piano for Betty, having earned a degree in music from the University of North Texas. He is a sinner in need of the grace he often talks about.
Betty is the best singer on earth, it is a mystery why she isn’t famous yet. She is an elder and women’s ministry leader at Dakota Creek Christian Center. She is also the funniest and smartest person Jim knows. She is a great friend and mentor to any number of women, and is just generally beautiful and pleasant. Mainly she is a great and patient and loving wife to Jim.
Jim and Betty McNeely live in Everson Washington with 3 of their sons, their first and oldest son lives in Bellingham WA.
